The E38 7 Series is a fantastic luxury sedan with gorgeous styling, and it's especially impressive with the powerful (and relatively reliable) 5.4-liter V12 engine. This particular example is a long-wheelbase, final-year model that touts reasonably low mileage and mostly warm-climate Southern ownership history. It also features some great factory equipment, including 18-inch Style 37 wheels, self-leveling suspension, active front seats, heated front and rear seats, and a heated steering wheel. This looks like an amazing 750iL.

THIS... is a 2001 BMW 750iL, finished in Jet Black with a black interior.

  • The attached Carfax history report indicates no mileage discrepancies. It also shows that the car was registered mostly in Southern states from new.

  • Factory equipment on this 750iL includes 18-inch Style 37 wheels, self-leveling suspension, xenon headlights, a sunroof, Montana leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front and rear seats, wood interior trim, and Park Distance Control (PDC).

  • The third-generation or "E38" BMW 7 Series was sold from 1994 to 2001 with a mid-cycle update for 2000. The last 7 Series before the controversial Chris Bangle–styled and technologically complex "E65" model, the E38 was offered in short- and long-wheelbase body styles with V8 or V12 engines for the North American market.

  • Power comes from the 5.4-liter "M73" V12, rated at 326 horsepower and 361 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
